Hailing from New York City, Grammy award winner, DJ, and producer Roger Sanchez is one of the pioneers of House music and a 20-plus year veteran of the electronic music genre.
His 2003 Grammy award was for Best Remixed Recording for his reworking of No Doubt’s “Hella Good.”
He has had chart topping singles all over the world including “Lost,” “Turn on the Music,” and his best known classic “Another Chance.”
Roger has done remixes for Daft Punk, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Madonna, Depeche Mode, Alicia Keys, Kylie Minogue, Robyn, and Brandon Flowers to name a few.
Roger has launched four different record labels. Roger’s current and most successful record label, Stealth Records, was founded in 2002 and is one of the most upfront imprints in the house music scene.
Roger has a weekly terrestrial and online radio show called Release Yourself that reaches over 15 million listeners worldwide. A bi-weekly podcast, also called Release Yourself, is also distributed internationally and won the first-ever Best Podcast Award at the International Dance Music Awards.
He curates an annual Release Yourself compilation album for Stealth (13 years and counting), a multi-disc set known for its explosive blend of deep house, Latin, tribal and tech sounds.
